You will be met by our representative at the airport/railway station and begin drive to Darjeeling.
Wake up early in the morning to drive to Tiger Hill from where you can see the most spectacular
Sunrise as the first rays of the sun hit the Himalayan peaks on Mt.Kanchenjunga and Mt.Everest.
Return to your hotel for wash n change and breakfast.
Post you breakfast drive to the Darjeeling Railway station to enjoy a ride on the World Heritage Steam Locomotive Toy Train up to Ghoom Station enjoying a photo stop at the famous Batasia Loop.
In the afternoon you will visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaju Naidu Zoological Park which is famous for the conservation of Snow Leopard’s under captivity. Post this visit to the Tibetan Refugee Centre – run by Tibetan Refugees to preserve their handicrafts and one can see making of Tibetan Carpets, Leather work, Paintings and Wooden work etc.
In the evening you can enjoy a tea tasting session at Nathmull’s Tea Lounge in Chowrasta.
After breakfast you will drive to Pelling in West Sikkim, distance from Darjeeling is 80 kms driving time is 4-5 hours.
You will arrive Pelling by lunch time. After lunch visit to Pemayangste Monastery followed by a walk to the Rabtense Palace Ruins
Post breakfast you will transfer to Yuksum, The first capital of the kingdom of Sikkim and site of the coronation of the first chogyal. 35 kms 1 hour approx.
Afternoon proceed to visit Dubdi Monastery, The Monastery is located on a hill top above Yuksum surrounded by verdant forest. It can be approached by trekking only, negotiating steep slope of something like 40 – 45 minutes. Later visit Coronation Thrown.
In the evening you’ll be free to enjoy local area.
In the Morning drive from Yuksum to the capital of Sikkim (Gangtok).
After Lunch Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Gangtok visiting Rumtek Monastery, Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, Enchey Monastery and Directorate of Handicraft and Handlooms.
In the evening take a stroll at the MG Market.
Post Breakfast transfer to Lachen 131 kms 6 hours approx. En-rute visit Tashi view point, Phodong, Namok, Mangan, Singhik.
You will be reached by lunch time. After Lunch time for leisure.
Morning breakfast at hotel and proceed for excursion to Chopta & Thangu Valley. Return to hotel for Lunch and straight drive to Lachung 48 kms 3 hours approx
Morning excursion to Yumthang Valley. Later visit Hot spring
Evening free for leisure.
After breakfast drive to Gangtok 124 kms 6 hour approx.
In the evening take a stroll at the MG Market.
After breakfast you can drive from Gangtok to Kalimpong 83 kms 3 hours approx.
You will arrive Kalimpong by lunch time and in the afternoon you can visit the Zangdog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery and Cactus Nursery
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway
Station in time for the onward connection.
