Daywise Tour Plan

  • Day 1

    Guwahati – Nameri National Park (240 kms / 5 hrs)

    Arrive Guwahati by air. On your arrival meet your driver and then set off towards Nameri National Park. We shall pass through some of the most mesmerizing landscapes of Assam and green paddy fields. On arrival check in to Eco Camp - tents or thatched cottages all of which back into private bathrooms that have hot water geysers. Evening on your own.

     

    Nameri National Park – Gateway for nature lovers & a beautiful place located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Total area of the park is about 137 Km2.  The habitat of Nameri is made up of tropical evergreen, Semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests with cane and bamboo brakes and narrow strips of open grassland along rivers. Grassland comprise of less than 10% of the total area of the park while the semi-evergreen and moist deciduous species dominate the area. The JiaBhareli River flows along the park’s western and southern boundaries.

  • Day 2

    Nameri National Park

    Early morning we shall go a jungle walk through thick jungle and dry riverbeds, accompanied by a forest guard, offers you to witness the wildlife and birding life finding their way into an ever-expanding checklist. Nameri's most important avian residents are the White-winged Ducks. Return to Eco Camp for breakfast, later we shall go for a rafting in the gentle rapids of the JiaBhoroliriver. River-rafting is a popular and pleasant way to see birds like Ibisbill and Long-billed Plover. The river rafting is allowed in south east of the park on river. The rafting usually starts 13 kms. upstream and takes about 3 hours to complete without halts. Evening on your own.Overnight stay at Eco Camp.

  • Day 3

    Nameri National Park – Kaziranga National Park(80 kms/2 hrs)

    This morning we set off towards Kaziranga National Park – the home of the world famed one horned Rhinos. Check into resort.  Later go for a jeep safari in the Central range of the park. Return to lodge. Overnight stay.

     

    Kaziranga National Park a world heritage site is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. It has been declared as National Park in 1974. Kaziranga National Park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.

  • Day 4

    Kaziranga National Park

    Early morning we shall go for an elephant ride - Elephant ride is the best way to behold the vigour and charm of the enchanting wildlife of the park. Return to resort for your breakfast. Mid morning explore a village inhabited by Mishing tribe and Kaziranga Orchid center. Afternoon go for a jeep safari in the park.

  • Day 5

    Kaziranga National Park Elephant Ride

    After breakfast go for a jeep safari in the Eastern Range of the park - is home to numerous exotic water birds which can be viewed perfectly using the binocular. Afternoon go for a jeep safari in the Western Range of park - is the most preferred tourism zone in Kaziranga as the landscape of this zone provides the opportunity to get the very close sight of the one-horned Rhino.

  • Day 6

    Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati

    Transfer to Guwahati airport to board flight for your onward journey.
